Message since 1966, and I can without a doubt that my 94TT, with just "all-season" type tires, is absolutely the most scary vehicle I have ever driven in snow/icy conditions. A big part of the problem is that I just don't want to see it damaged so I am extremely careful...and that makes the driving all the more uncomfortable. It is so easy for the back end to come around when just letting up off the gas when going downhill on a icy/snowy road. This car is very hard to replace....do you really want to take any chances on snow/ice?
